Pulse Gallery is a small art gallery located in the historic Forks Market in Winnipeg, MB. They are a freelance client I began providing design support for in early January 2024.
As previous design firm/designers had established Pulse Gallery's website, logo, and clean graphic elements, I wanted to ensure I kept their brand unified and uncluttered. I was asked to help with broadening their brand presence through print materials and digital graphics for social media.
The Fairmont Gold Lounge Materials
Pulse Gallery reached out in need of an updated poster, sign and postcard to promote their Artists in Residence partnership with The Fairmont Hotel. They wanted a cohesive, clean look that matched their website. The materials were intended to promote the live painting event done by the artist, as well as point viewers to the artwork offerings at Pulse Gallery at the Forks.
Dawn Schmidt's materials included a 11 x 17" Poster, 8.5 x 11" Sign and 6 x 4" Postcard.
After the initial poster, counter sign, and postcard designs were approved, they were used for various other artists featured in the Gold Lounge.
Social Media Optimization
Pulse Gallery wanted help with their social media presence, so after a call with them to discuss their needs, I was able to create a higher resolution profile picture based off of their logomark, and provide branded highlight icons built in Canva.
I reviewed the icons on their website, to match the look and feel of what had previously been established.
